Symphony of Skills
Star Stable Dressage,
July 2023
4th place
SSD's first RR+ competition is here! In the competition we had to work around selected movements and a very limited time frame! The result is a short routine that was a lot of fun to create.
Chronicles of Youth
Star Stable Dressage,
May - June 2024
2nd place
In this year's second competition, we were challenged to make a routine based on childhood memories and asymmetry! We couldn't decide on a theme since we are different age groups and watched different things when we were kids, so instead we wanted to capture the feeling of childhood! The happy, magical and nostalgic feeling.

SSD Internationals 2023
Star Stable Dressage,
September - November 2023
5th place
This is our submission to Star Stable Dressage's Internationals 2023! As usual, we get our inspiration from the music. Making the choreography to fit the theme and vibe of the music is something we're really in to! That's also why a ''non-themed'' competition like internationals suits us. We don't have a specific theme, the music is what makes our routine what it is. We tried our best to create moves and sequences depending on the feeling we got from our music.
Dawn to Dusk
Star Stable Dressage,
June - August 2023
2nd place
The focus of this competition was to showcase the times of the day through music and formations.
Our routine begins with a sunrise on a calm morning. The dew drops as the world comes to life. The day is sunny and everything becomes more active. During the evening we wind down after yet another active day before once again, when night comes, increase the speed again. The night is dark and mysterious and we were inspired by space when creating this part of the routine.
The Timeless Dance
Star Stable Dressage,
April - May 2023
nd place
The theme for this competition was time. All participants were assigned the same piece of music and we had to reduce the number of riders during the routine.
We tried to show the theme in several different ways in our routine. For example, we used movements with delay several times. We also showed an hourglass that turned and a pinwheel that symbolized the hands of a clock.
A large part of the competition was about using the music which we did by adapting the gaits to the energy of the music, lower gaits at the beginning and end but faster speed where the music allowed to.
The Messy March
Star Stable Dressage,
March 2023
2nd place
This routine was made as a challenge in Flower Force! We didn't want to wait for the next RR comp, instead we created, practiced and recorded this routine during four practices late march. In total we had a finished recording in less than four hours!
The Space Odyssey

Launch of Artemis - To the moon and beyond: Our Story is about a space journey beginning on earth, venturing through our solar system and ending with the astronauts being sucked into a black hole. The story begins with a rocket launch, with the motors burning and rotating, sending the rocket into space. At this time the constellation Cassiopeia shows herself. The rocket ship continues its journey passing Earth and the moon trying to find it's destination. When realising this wasn't the right location the astronauts search through all far corners of space, passing many different planets and clusters of meteoroids. At one point the journey becomes dramatic and half of the crew is lost. The remaining crew begin an intense search for their friends, and luckily the lost half of the crew is found on planet Saturn. The ship can then travel further into space, passing numerous stars. But before they have the time to think, another disaster occurs and the ship as well as a big x-wing gets sucked into a black hole...
SSD Internationals 2022
Star Stable Dressage,
September - November 2022
1st place
We worked hard on this routine, and despite some lag issues we're very happy with the outcome! This competition ended as we reached our 6 months, we had Internationals as our goal but we couldn't dream of getting this far in only half a year.
For internationals we decided to go back to our routine-making roots and make a routine inspired by a cool piece of music. We focused on finding interesting formations and worked on our technique to make this the most advanced routine we've made yet. Hope you enjoy!
Enchanting Elements
Kadriljcentret Lupin,
August - October 2022
1st place
The theme of the competition is the four elements, water, earth, fire and air which you had to represent mainly through the different moves used in the routine. Music and outfit etc could also match the theme to make it more clear!
We couldn't miss this opportunity to make a routine with Avatar: The Last Airbender as our theme! Many of us watched the show when we were young and this feels so nostalgic to us!
Our routine begins with everyone doing a circle together, but spreading out when the fire nation attacked. The avatar comes in to stop them but vanishes. The first element was earth which we represented with a brown outfit and sequences using hard cuts and edges. Second was fire, represented with a red outfit and big, high paced moves. Third came air where we used white outfits and whirlwind inspired moves. Last we presented water by a blue outfit and moves inspired by waves and raindrops.

At the end the riders changed into their own element color again and the avatar appears. Everyone stands in line and can live together in harmony again.
Belle of the ball
Star Stable Dressage,
June - August 2022
3d place
Rivalry at the Hogwarts ball It’s time for the annual ball at the end of the semester. Couples from Slytherin and Gryffindor enter the ballroom from separate corners, trying their best to stay away from each other. As the couples enter closely together they bow before beginning to dance on their own to the music. The houses meet in the middle, repelling before they get too close, still wanting to stay away from the other house. You can feel the rising rivalry in the air as Slytherin and Gryffindor try to outshine one another, with each side doing more difficult dance moves. Further into the ball the houses face off in the middle before again moving away. However, two couples break free from their respective houses and start to dance together with the opposite house. The others soon join in and can put the rivalry aside, if only for this final ball until they go home and won’t see one another for the whole summer. At the end of the ball, everyone gathers and dances together to make beautiful sequences only possible if all dancers do their best!
Meticulous Movement
Star Stable Dressage,
march - may 2022
4th Place
In this routine we used all the gaits to create various different shapes and patterns.
To utilize all the existing gaits was a new challenge for both the routine creators as well as the riders, however it was very fun to get the chance to back, jump and ride in full gallop!
